We care about your travel, which is why we offer Flexible tickets

  1. We offer greater flexibility should your plans change. You can make one free amendment at least 48 hours before departure, subject to seat availability. Email to: rsvn@thekingbooking.com
  2. Pay no amendment fees for changing your booking. You can make one free amendment to your booking.
  3. Please note that any difference between your original fare and the additional fare added to your booking must be paid. However, if the new fare is lower than the original fare, you will not be eligible for a refund.

Booking and Ticket Policies

  1. The booking and ticket are Non-refundable, No Chargeback, Non-cancellation and cannot be changed to another date or time on the departure date. Unused tickets will not be refunded, and no refunds will be issued for no-shows, regardless of the number of passengers.
  2. Non-refundable: Tickets are not subject to cancellation or refund. The booking deposit and any portion of the ticket price are likewise non-refundable.
  3. Free Rebooking: You may rebook your ticket once free of charge, provided it is done at least 48 hours prior to departure and seats are available. If the new ticket price is higher than the original price, you will be responsible for the difference. However, if the new ticket price is lower than the original price, no refund will be issued.
  4. Rebooking Fees:
    • Rebooking within 48 hours of departure will incur a 300 baht administrative fee (subject to seat availability).
    • If the new ticket price is higher than the original price, you will be responsible for paying the difference.
    • If the new ticket price is lower than the original price, no refund will be issued.
  5. The fee for rebooking within 24 hours increases to 500 baht (subject to seat availability). If the new price is higher than the original price, you will need to pay the difference. However, if the new price is lower than the original price, you will not receive a refund.
  6. Rebooking within 12 hours is subject to an 800 baht fee (if seats are available). If the new price is higher than the original price, you will need to pay the difference. However, if the new price is lower than the original price, no refund will be issued.
  7. Fees rise to 1000 baht and 1200 baht for rebooking within 6 and 3 hours of departure, respectively (subject to seat availability). If the new price is higher than the original price, you will need to pay the difference. However, if the new price is lower than the original price, you will not receive a refund.
  8. Missed Departure: Passengers who are no-shows or arrive late will forfeit their ticket and be required to purchase a new one. Rebooking is not possible in such instances. and (1)
  9. Cancellations are not eligible for any refund.
  10. Schedule Changes: We reserve the right to cancel or change the schedule at any time without prior notice due to weather, emergencies, or boat malfunctions.
  11. Delays and Connections:
    • Boat companies operate point-to-point services and are not liable for delays or missed connecting flights.
    • We strongly advise against booking a boat trip on the same day as your flight.
    • If unavoidable, allow ample time to account for potential delays.
    • Consider booking a private transfer from the pier to the airport to minimize the risk of missing your flight.

Booking Confirmations

  • Your booking is confirmed once all fares have been paid in full and we have issued you a voucher.
  • Fares must be paid in full at least 72 hours prior to the departure date.
  • If the fare has not been paid in full for any reason, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
  • If you have not received your voucher within 48 hours of payment, please contact us immediately so we can reissue it.
  • If you do not contact us at least 48 hours prior to the departure time, we may not be held responsible if you do not receive your ticket on time.

Delays & Cancellations

  • We reserve the right to modify the service in any way without incurring liability to passengers.
  • We also reserve the right to cancel the service or change the schedule at any time due to poor weather conditions, emergencies, or mechanical failures.
  • We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury that may arise from the cancellation or delay of the service.
  • We are not responsible for the cost of any accommodation or alternative travel arrangements that may arise due to cancellations or delays. Any additional expenses incurred will be the sole responsibility of the passenger.

Cancellation Policies

  • Flexible tickets and regular tickets cannot be cancelled or refunded after purchase.
  • Round-trip or joint tickets cannot be cancelled or refunded if the first leg has already been used.
  • Please note that any bank fees, credit card processing fees, PayPal fees, or other payment processing fees incurred by the customer are non-refundable.

Amendments:

  • Booking amendments are subject to seat availability and must be requested at least 48 hours prior to departure. If the new fare exceeds the original price, you will be required to pay the difference. Conversely, if the new fare is lower than the original price, no refund will be issued.
  • An administration fee of 300 baht will be applied to all amendments, in addition to any difference in fare.
  • For amendments made less than 48 hours before departure, a fee will be charged. This fee will be the higher of the actual cost incurred for the trip/transfer or a minimum of 300 baht per person.

Ticket Fare (Price) May Change

  • We reserve the right to change prices or terms and conditions without prior written notice.

Group Bookings

  • This applies to groups of over 20 passengers in a single booking.

Passenger Check-In

  • It's important to arrive early. Arriving at the check-in point at the pier at least 30 minutes before departure allows ample time for checking in, boarding, and settling in. If you miss the departure time, both the ticket and the booking will be automatically canceled. You will then need to purchase new tickets at the pier at the regular fare if you still intend to travel on the next boat trip.

Boarding

  • "Speedboat or ferry boat boarding typically closes 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time. No refunds or rescheduling will be possible if you miss your departure. In this case, your ticket and booking will be automatically canceled. Tickets are non-refundable, non-changeable, and cannot be used for a different departure time or date on the day of travel. You will then need to purchase a new ticket at the pier at the regular fare.

Unaccompanied Children

  • Children under 11 years old must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older) to travel on the ferry.

Same-Day Flights

  • Boat companies operate point-to-point services and are not liable for delays or missed connecting flights.
  • We strongly advise against booking a boat trip on the same day as your flight.
  • If unavoidable, allow ample time to account for potential delays.
  • Consider booking a private transfer from the pier to the airport to minimize the risk of missing your flight.

General Behavior:

  • Passengers are expected to follow the instructions of ferry staff and agents regarding all aspects of the service. Please also pay attention to any notices displayed on the vessel.
  • The ferry company reserves the right to refuse to carry any passenger or goods at its discretion.

Health and Safety

  • We recommend that pregnant women, individuals with heart conditions, back problems, or other physical limitations consult with their physician before traveling.
  • For parents traveling with young children (under 3 years old), we recommend exercising extra caution.

Baggage Allowance

  • Passengers are allowed one checked suitcase and one carry-on bag, each weighing no more than 20 kilograms. If you have large or numerous pieces of luggage, consider purchasing an extra seat. Exceeding the weight limit will result in additional fees charged by the boat company staff during check-in.
  • Ferry companies have the right to inspect baggage contents and refuse certain items.
  • Please clearly label your luggage to ensure easy identification upon arrival.
  • Passengers are responsible for any valuables or fragile items they bring, such as money, jewelry, electronics, important documents, etc.
